I started out DJing at my local youth centre back in late 70s and doing gigs as a spotty roadie.
Building up a large 12" collection which I still have today, music has always fired my soul.
I have played at some awesome gigs such as the Margate Soul Weekend, Lagoona Soul, Boutique Soul and Campsoul.
Running my own promotion called Souleaze, partnering with TonyMac and playing regularly in our home town of Stevenage, working alongside some top names such as Greg Edwards, Louie Martin, Dr Bob Jones, Sean French, John Jules, just to name a few.
Not forgetting my mentor and tutor Les Adams, who taught me so much, I was truly blessed.
I have been told my show has a unique style, I love that, it's all about the music and the artists, I like to add a bit of info about them, the weirder the better.
My passion is for uptempo music, from Jazz Funk from back then to Soulful House today, but nothing beats seeing people enjoying the music with me.
My show is called The Soul Soundout, reason being I like to sound out the wealth of new music out there and bring it to you, mixed in of course with some favourite Old Skool.
