I am a serious music connoisseur and vinyl junkie specialising in Soul, RnB, Jazz Funk, Disco, Boogie, Smooth Jazz & Gospel who loves listening to, collecting and playing music. My love for music started seriously after leaving school, buying vinyl at a staff discount from CBS Records in Ladbroke Grove, my first job, and then it grew from there. Sometimes being asked to play at house parties and then getting into volunteering in hospital radio for 10 years at Radio Northwick Park, London.

In Lockdown I was doing my own daily breakfast shows (7-10am) and an RnB independent artist new music show. This was particularly rewarding interviewing as I had the opportunity to interview many artists from old school and current.

My style is to occasionally broadcast specialist shows on artists, record labels, etc. In 2023 I was rewarded with being No. 1 on the Mixcloud Jazz Funk chart for a Black History Month show broadcast as a series of 70's, 80's and 90's trendsetters.

I have my own special way of presenting and am always looking for the next new challenge and look forward to sharing the love with soul music on JFSR. Please join me for Soul Food To Go every Sunday from 2pm.
