Alice Hill has a background is in music journalism and academia with a specialism in jazz. She studied music at Oxford and Cambridge, writing large-scale research projects on Alice Coltrane’s piano music, jazz in Taiwan, and Trinidadian women in British jazz. Prior to this she ran a successful blog entitled Jazz UK where she reviewed gigs, singles, and albums. Alice brings this background in music writing to the radio scene at Jazz Funk Soul Radio, using her expertise to create an enriching programme centred around recently released jazz music. Alice has a deep passion for all things jazz, funk, and soul related, and wants to share that with others through radio.
