Hi I’m Winston Graham aka ‘The Messenger’ I fell in love with music from the moment i used to climb out of my bedroom window at the age of 14 and sneaked off to Nottingham’s finest nightclub The Palais. This started my journey into the world of music. I then went on to DJ at local venues and discovered the sweet sounds of Northern soul, which i still love to his day., I played at venues in Germany bringing them the sounds of American and British soul. In the 80’s I was part of the pirate radio scene and specialised in Rare grooves and soulful slowies, my favourite genre of music. In the 90’s I kinda fell out of love with the music scene and had some time out. Until I had my passion reignited a few years ago. So I would love for you to join me in my musical journey, i’ll take you from the 40’s to the naughties right here on Jazz Funk Soul Radio Friday afternoon from 4pm with The Time Tunnel.
